I kinda like the way life is right now. There is a balance between studies, volleyball and God. And i thank God for that. He has really seen me through all these tough times. Especially during the period of promos when everyone is so worried, i don’t feel as worried. Everyone is complaining about the papers, how hard it was, being pessimistic about the future and all. Yet, i feel like im the only optimistic one. Maybe its because i know God has a plan for me and everything will turn out well in the end. As long as i do everything to the best of my ability, God will help me to the best of His ability.
Proverbs 16:3, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
And also im going to iran. Wow. Somehow i got into the combined schools volleyball team. circumstances just made it happen. It also proves the point that having friends is very important. If i had not known jiaonn or daoliang, i wouldnt be asked to go. Same thing applies to the real world. opportunities will be presented to you if you make the right connections. what good is a genius if he has no friends and no social networks so as to show off his inventions/theories? clearly, he will never succeed. Anyway, something insightful my dad said: “its not who you know, but who knows you.” Only by making a impact on the lives of others, will they remember you.
Cant wait for promos to be over. Wanna go to iran and experience the foreign soil. breathe the dry air and possibly take great photos. if things go well, i might even get the chance to play. lookin forward to the days abroad, hope that it’ll be enriching.
Seems like my holidays are packed with many activities lined up back to back. class chalet, iran, pw, ocip, volleyball. but its a good thing. right now, theres nothing much i can ask for, except for my ipod to be cool again.
anyway, im gonna end my blabbering here. sorry if it doesnt make sense or has no flow of logic. peace out all. stay cool. be positive. keep your head up. never let them bring you down. stay ahead of the game. never be passive.
another thing i would like to add is i miss my cat high days where i can roam around school freely, without worries. aint the same in ac, idk why. things were much simpler back then i guess. but im still having fun in ac:)
